Dr. Weiss believes that aesthetic medicine should be approached with the same discipline as medical dermatology. Therefore, he offers his patients who desire cosmetic and laser surgery, a rejuvenation program that is directed by a medical doctor specifically trained in skin physiology and certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Patients at the Weiss Skin Institute are offered cutting edge technology for aesthetic rejuvenation, including the latest laser and light based therapies. All patients have an initial consultation with Dr. Weiss. At this time the patient is able to express his or her cosmetic goals. Also during this period, a full skin analysis is conducted. Through computer generated imaging, the extent of photodamage, the basis for the cutaneous signs of aging, is assessed. Understanding the patient’s desires, and with this assessment in hand, an individually tailored program that consists of a combination of topical, injectable, and laser and light based therapies is developed.
